Las Hogueras de San Juan ( The Bonfires of San Juan) is the main festivity of Alicante, which is held from the 20th to 24th of June coincinding with the summer solstice to welcome the summer. Las Hogueras are monuments that are set up in the streets and later they go up on smoke on the 24th. It was declared Festival of International Tourist Interest.
